Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Position Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in an ambulatory clinic setting. This role is dedicated to supporting increased outpatient access, with a strong focus on providing specialized care in orthopedic conditions. The provider will be responsible for managing a busy caseload of consultations and follow-up visits, helping to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations and follow-up visits for patients with a range of orthopedic needs, including joint, sports, and hand-related pathologies.
  • Collaborate closely with the orthopedic team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 19 patients, ensuring timely and efficient care.
  • Outpatient-Only Role: No procedures or surgical responsibilities; this role focuses exclusively on clinic-based care to support outpatient access.
  • Requirements:
  • Active Georgia state license and DEA certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of joint, sports, and hand pathologies essential.
