Position: Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Newburgh, NY

Position Details:

• Board Certified Peds EM, active New York License, PALS & NRP Required
• Locum Coverage Assessment
  • 8-10 Shifts per Month
  • Long-term need, 6 months +
  • 8 & 10 hour shifts

• Program Details
  • Annual Patient Volume: Peds: 5K, total 60K
  • Patients per Hour: 1.5
  • PEDS ED Bed Count: none dedicated, total in ED 66
  • Shift Times / Coverage Details: 8 hours/day
  • APC Hours of Coverage: no peds APC
  • Scribe Coverage: available at attendings request
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Admitting Orders: done by pediatric hospitalist
  • Trauma Center Designation: level 2
